Costco Trip to Seoul

Well Saturday/today Mel and I joined the couple from the school and we went to Costco.  Again, the cab driver didn't put the fare on.  Whatev.  They got a twenty.

Inside Costco (a 2 story building) is utter insanity. Full of people and I don't mean full, like whoa Wal Mart was crazy full today.  I mean it's fucking Devonshire Mall Dec 24th fucking full.

Here is a lesson for you all.  While living in Korea just push your way through. Do not apologize and just be an asshole in general.  Seriously.  Like the town I'm in isn't that much different from Windsor.  By that I mean, there is apt buildings, clothing stores, it's small but has a lot in it (so i guess a bit different) but it's a family oriented town.  But the people here are absolutely different in pretty much every way.  Like they stare, they don't look at you, they STARE.  They will push into you, not move around you.  And it's not just that they say nothing when they hit me, but it's anyone.  It's really fucking annoying.  It is one thing I will NOT get used to at all.  It's just not friendly here at all.

So anyway Costco is 2 floors, so top is non food, bottom is food.  Mel and I spent 225 bucks there.  I got FOOD. I can EAT!  But there was stuff I wanted, but it was soooooo expensive.  Say a large bag of marshmallows....10 bucks. 10 effin bucks and by big I mean like the big marshmallows in a regular sized bag.  Everything is over the top price wise.  I have a list of stuff I want from home.  Yea it's been 8 days and I want food from home so bad.  I hate not having an oven.  Their toaster ovens are probably smaller than those little kid ovens with the lightbulb.  It's so strange.  At least I got cheese to make grilled cheese sandwiches.  Now all I need is butter and ketchup and I'm rollin'.

So on the way home it was about 10 minutes before we could get a cab.  It was kinda pricy coming home, but the couple offered to give us money.  They're far too nice, so they're obviously Canadian.  They're great.  We had a hot dog at the store (we could trust they were made of pork)  and we had to stand and eat.  Get our asses smashed by a-holes with their carts.  MAN I do not like it in there.  But getting food I know and love is worth it.

So now I have almost everything under control.  Just some work I want to get ahead on.  I'm going to sleep like a rock tonight. I'm excited for it, how sad. haha.

For the record, NO Canadian Costco Ice Cream.
