3 weeks

Crazy times!

I finally made myself a real meal.  Spaghetti with onion, mushrooms, garlic and green peppers in butter. OOOOOO so good.  I need some white wine to make it awesomeR. yea er.

Today I had my second meeting with the ol' boss man.  He talked all in Korean to a Korean teacher who told me what he said. Which is strange, because I know the man speaks great English.  Anyway I GOT PAID! WEEE! And it was just my 2 training weeks. So now I also get paid on the 10th. So 5 days of regular pay.  Rad - i- cal.

Nothing too exciting has been going on,  but I've heard some murmurings about travel come March and into the Spring.  China, Japan and Tawain. Weehoo! I'm soooo ready to get out of Korea and see something different. Yea 3 weeks and I want to see something new.  This weekend I'll be going somewhere in Korea.  I still don't know the names of the towns I've been too. I really should learn!

At work today I had to help interview a child.  She was SO shy.  The Korean teacher kept talking in Korean to get her to open up.  Luckily I found these weird fruit toys, where you can stick the two halves together with their velcro.  And I put one together and her face lit up like a Christmas tree.  Then she was all about life.  Chatty little one after that.  There were quite a few new kids being interviewed today.   Also come Monday I have a new class at 5.30.  This will be the oldest kids I teach.  Very different from the others I teach.  Most of them can put together simple sentences, but that's about it.  I tried to get them to put together a story.  As in I start the story with a sentence and they add to it.  Ummm yea we're gonna work on that.  They didn't get it...... nice kids though. hah

Now weekend YAY!
